Food Grade PTFE Coatings

KG manufactures a range of non-stick PTFE coatings which show both excellent non-stick and durability. These coatings are unique in that the one Top Coat can be used with different base coats to provide different properties. All material used in the formulation of our PTFE coatings are listed in the FDA Guidelines 21 CFR 175 subsection for material suitable for direct food contact.

KG-622 TopCoat - Available in Bronze Hi Sparkle, Gun Metal Hi Sparkle, and Silver Hi Sparkle.

KG-617 Single Coat PTFE - KG-617 is water reducible and specially designed for coating aluminum cookware, both pre and post formed. This coating offers superior adhesion from other single coat PTFE coatings and also excellent stain and release qualities.

Industrial PTFE Coatings

KG-155 and KG-146 are coatings developed for use on fasteners, valves and all components requiring lubrication and corrosion protection. They are particularly suited to the Petro-chemical, Mining and off shore Oil/Gas Chemical Industries.

RFI Shielding Coating

KG manufactures RFI Shielding Coatings to perform in a wide range of applications, using Nickel, Copper and Silver. The RFI coatings have excellent adhesion properties, offer low to very low surface resistivity and excellent shielding over a broad range of frequencies.

KG-6 Suspended Moly

An outstanding product used as an oil additive for gear boxes and internal combustion engines. KG-6 is also used to swab dies for hot stamping, and used to reduce bore fouling in the firearms industry. When used in combination with Gear Kote, KG-6 affords the user many more benefits. KG-6 will significantly reduce the friction and wear within engines and motors.

Chain Kote

Used for conveyer chains, hinges, large bearings. Chain Kote provides an outstanding lubrication for the unique requirements for heavy-duty chains. Chain Kote will not fling like most other chain lubricants.

Contact Cleaner

Used for cleaning and decreasing parts. Contact Cleaner contains a special formulation of fast drying, water-displacing solvents, which rapidly cuts through oil and grease, leaving no residue. Contact Cleaner is excellent for ignition points, plugs, and deep cleaning
bearings and drive chains prior to lubrication, in all settings from Automotive to Industrial.

Assembly Lube

KG AD Paste is a molybdenum dry film lube developed to reduce wear, prevent galling and seizure of metals and provides corrosion protection. Used in the assembly of components AD will provide extra protection in start-ups. AD can also be used to touch up KG Gear Kote.

WL

KG WL, a water based environmentally friendly solid film lube was developed for the forging and swadgeing industry. Formulated with Graphite and Molybdenum, KG WL will provide outstanding lubrication under extreme heat and pressure. KG WL has been used at temperatures of up to 2300 degrees F with excellent results.

Oil Absorbent Matting

The OilDrip Bench Mat, is a professional alternative to using old fashion metal drip pans and cardboard to protect garage floors, work bench surfaces and counter tops. KG's oil drip mat protects work areas from messy and sometimes damaging oil and fluid spills from cars, motorcycles, farm equipment or any other type of machine.

The OilDrip Bench Mat is truly unique. Made from a non-woven polypropylene fiber, which attracts hydrocarbons, the Oil Drip Mat will not track off once absorbed into the fibers. This material is used to assist in the clean-up of major oil spills. The OilDrip Bench Mat will soak up ten times its weight in oils and oil related products, as well as all those other messy automotive spills. OilDrip Bench Mat will not slip on your work surface or garage floor; the backing is made from a non-slip material
