This is because the latter may not be as effective as a machinery’s reciprocating motion may squeeze out the liquid lubricants. Dry lubricant can also be used in ceramics with its flexibility to be customized based on the chemical reactions that the parts need. When it comes to firearms, dry lubricants can be an effective cleaner by removing the grit out of the weapons.
